Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and certification as a Health and Wellness Coach.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe and welcoming space—no judgment, no pressure, and no need to have it all figured out. Life is messy, and we’re all constantly growing. I see therapy as a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself—whether you’re carrying something heavy or just trying to make sense of the next chapter. Wherever you are in life, you deserve support that meets you there.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in building a relationship that feels safe and genuine. I want you to feel like you can exhale when you walk into the room. I draw from several evidence-based approaches based on your needs and goals:
– Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It offers practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking and manage anxiety, depression, or stress.
– Internal Family Systems (IFS) explores the “parts” within us—like the inner critic or the people-pleaser—and helps foster compassion and inner balance.
– Motivational Interviewing supports clients in navigating ambivalence and making meaningful changes, always guided by your readiness and pace.
– Existential Therapy invites reflection on purpose and values, especially during times of transition or uncertainty.
– Mindfulness practices help slow things down, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional awareness and presence.
At the heart of my work is a Person-Centered philosophy—you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create an inclusive space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and respected.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy connecting with others, exploring new coffee shops and bookstores, practicing yoga, attending live music or open mic nights, swimming, reading book series, and watching documentaries or reality shows. I believe in balance, authenticity, and meeting people exactly where they are—both in the therapy room and out.
