Beginning counseling is a brave step, especially when the path ahead feels uncertain or intimidating. As your therapist, I intend to honor your bravery by offering a safe, calm, and welcoming space where you can feel fully seen and heard.
I prefer to lead with a Person-Centered approach with the belief that everyone has the inner wisdom and tools to grow. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate your path forward, offering assistance when necessary. I also draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy while integrating mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral techniques.
I welcome clients across all stages of life, navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, or simply the everyday stressors that can feel overwhelming.
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before beginning my graduate training, I worked as a registered behavior technician for children with autism after earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Miami.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, spending time with my family and friends, solving Sudoku, and relaxing with a feel-good TV show or movie.
