Melissa Francis, LCMHC received her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and most recently served those moving through the grief process in her previous position with Hospice.
Currently, Melissa works primarily with adolescents and adults on their emotional health concerns. Some of those issues include depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, codependency, low self-esteem, and adjustment difficulties. She has a passion in working with couples who have lost their connection and need clinical support in healing. Her clinical approaches include Emotionally Focused Couples therapy, Positive Psychology, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing. She believes that counseling should be a safe environment that promotes and fosters healing. Deeply connected to serving our community, she is significantly involved in developing positive social opportunities for others. Melissa is available in our Denver office, or virtually to help therapy be convenient in your life.
