I’m a graduate of UNCC with a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education and a Masters in Social Work and have been practicing for the past few years in a school based setting working with children from age ranges from 4-20 as a LCSW. I also completed an additional certification in ADHD-CCSP, specializing in neurodivergence which is an area of truly enjoy supporting clients in. I have a passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as their family systems. Additionally, I have ten years experience in law enforcement and clinical practice in a hospital setting with adults across the lifespan which has uniquely prepared me to support those who work in these areas.
In addition to children, I enjoy working with I work with young adults, couples, and families with a special interest in women’s health. I work with a range of modalities that best fits the person, needs, and desired outcomes. These can include but are not limited to Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, holistic psychology, habit building, solution focused therapy, mind/body connection, spiritual, psychoeducation, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and strength based. When trauma has impacted you, I enjoy bringing in somatic processing to help the mind and body heal.
