From the outside, everyone thinks you’re “fine,” but deep down there’s a battle you’re fighting daily that feels endless, exhausting, and impossible to overcome. Many people suffer in silence… not because they want to, but because it always felt like no one would understand. The fact that you’re here says a lot. Congratulations on taking your first step!
My name is Meikayla, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I am deeply committed to supporting teens, adults, and couples who are ready to turn the page and start reclaiming peace, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose in their lives. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between suffering and serenity.
My approach to counseling is an eclectic, integrative blend of existential and reality therapy, IFS, CBT, ACT, trauma-focused, attachment-based work, and other evidence-based practices. I support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, grief, and life transitions – helping them build resilience and create meaningful personal growth.
Do you find yourself feeling stuck or unfulfilled in your career? I also offer career counseling, aimed to help clients align their work with their values, strengths, and sense of purpose. Sessions are customized to your goals and beliefs; clients who wish to integrate faith-based principles into therapy are welcome to Christian counseling upon request.
If you’ve made it this far in my bio, I invite you to explore a life a that feels more peaceful for you. Together, we will explore where your current actions may not align with the life you want, build healthier coping skills, stronger boundaries, and more meaningful connections. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
