Hi! My name is Jacina Hall and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sports Social Worker and Military Counselor. I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from Warren Wilson College in the beautiful Asheville mountains and my Masters from The North Carolina Central University in 2018 in the heart of Durham.
I believe there are times when we need someone to listen, but feel as though we do not want to burden them with our problems. You are not alone and you do not have to suffer in silence. My goal is to help you see that you can feel better, and to empower you to make the changes you need for the life you want. As a therapist, I prioritize relationships, offer therapeutic connection, and facilitate intrapersonal and relational growth. I work with individuals to explore identity, military life challenges, sports challenges and the difficulties that may come along with attempting to know one’s self deeply and live authentically, such as anxiety, depression, retirement, major life transitions and family conflict. I particularly enjoy and specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, families and athletes.
Thank you for taking the first step. I look forward to meeting you and am eager to help you navigate through your past, set new goals and reach your highest potential.
