Hello and thank you for taking the time to explore our website. Whether you’re new to therapy or have seen a counselor before, the journey you’re about to embark upon is significant and I feel so privileged to join you in it. I am originally from the Pacific Northwest, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and International Studies and then a Master’s Degree in Counseling, both from George Fox University. Like most of my clients, I have been through a good share of transition in my life and I can appreciate the stress or anxiety these life transitions often create, even when they are planned and anticipated.

In working with clients, I believe it is important to allow a safe space for you to just be, to process loss, pain or frustration, and to begin identifying realistic goals that are sustainable in the long-term. Exploring the past is important in helping us to understand how it informs your current behaviors, but I will always encourage you to make changes that are relevant to your present and to your future. In striving toward this end, I will work hard to earn your trust and gently challenge you to approach your problems from a renewed perspective. I work from a family systems perspective, applying strengths-based, narrative, and cognitive behavioral approaches that are specific to each client’s needs and goals.

I have 21 years of experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. When working with minors, I believe it is important to actively involve parents so that change can occur within the entire family system. I work with a wide variety of issues, including grief and loss, marriage, divorce, blended families, infertility, parenting, adoption and foster care, depression, anxiety, work-related stress, family dynamics, and adjustment to issues specific to teens and young adults.

I so look forward to meeting you and engaging in this therapeutic journey together!

Hi there!! I am the newest member of the Miracles team. I am a bulldog graduate with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies. I then went on to get my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

My primary clinical experience is with adolescents ages 9-17, but I have worked with all ages. Before starting here at Miracles, I worked for Children’s Hope Alliance where I worked in families’ homes with children with extreme behaviors and mental health concerns. I have experience with children who face depression, anxiety, ADHD, conduct disorders, self-injurious behaviors, sexualized behaviors, suicidal ideations, and aggression. I believe kids are a product of their environment so while working with your kiddos I will also hold you accountable and keep you involved in our work together.

While kids are where I have the most experience, I also have worked with adults ages 18-70. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness techniques to analyze your thought patterns and help alter these so you can live a life of joy and fulfillment. I hope to build a relationship with all of my clients that combines a welcoming environment but also a challenging relationship that helps you look deep inside yourself.

I am most passionate about serving children I believe everyone is still able to change their story, learn from their past, and learn new skills and strategies to deal with the inevitable stressors that we all face. No matter your age or what brings you here, I am proud of you!! Therapy is a scary step but hey you made it this far. I look forward to working with you!!

Therapy should be a collaborative process where you are guiding your healing process as I walk alongside you, providing interventions, strategies, and new skills to assist you in achieving your goals. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that we do not exist in a bubble, there is a cause and effect that occurs in every relationship big and small which can have a ripple response at home, work, friendships, church, and school. When trauma occurs, it becomes a profound development not only on the individual but also their loved ones and can affect every aspect of their lives. I specialize in working with adolescents, families, and couples to communicate and relate in a more effective, harmonious manner. I am trained in the use of many different models including EMDR, TF-CBT, EFT, Gottman, and DBT utilizing each depending on the need of the unique client system.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to invest in yourself and learn more about me. I am a North Carolinian, born and raised. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in trauma therapy in 2019 and my Bachelors in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University in 2002. Prior to obtaining my masters, I enjoyed a career in retail management and as the Director of Children and Youth for an area church. When not seeing clients I love spending time with family, friends, and traveling to see this beautiful world.

Feel free to contact me to explore if we are a good fit to work together towards your healing!

I am Louise Bargo Biller a Licensed Clinical Social Worker receiving a Master of Social Work Degree from East Carolina University. I come to Miracles Healing Centers after fourteen years in my second career in private mental health practice. I worked for many years in the public realm of social work and social work management as well as being a mental health counselor and consultant. I believe through a positive relationship with a caring professional it is possible to uncover solutions to the most difficult of life’s struggles. Old behaviors often get in the way, keeping us from becoming the person we want to be. I believe the client is the expert in identifying areas for clinical attention. The benefits gained from psychotherapy depend largely upon the client’s investment in the process. This means that not only will you learn new skills, but can put those skills to use in between sessions to become the person you were destined to be.

My theoretical approach to therapy is an eclectic mix with the primary use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I spent many years working with adults, teens, children, and families. I have experience and training in providing psychotherapy for clients with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, child and adolescent behavioral problems, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in both adults and children, grief, blending families, relationship struggles, women’s issues, stress and anger management. I have expertise in providing therapeutic services for active duty, retired military and military families. Veterans and warriors have many reasons for seeking clinical attention that are due to their direct combat experiences, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to mention two major ones, and importantly reintegration into their families and communities after long and multiple deployments. I am trained in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for the treatment of trauma.   This is a powerful healing approach that has demonstrated positive results in the treatment of many disorders, but specifically for trauma related experiences and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I am also a skilled educator and trainer. I have conducted numerous classes and seminars for parents, child care professionals, public employees, school officials and social work staff to include such topics as workplace stress, behavior management, child abuse, disorders affecting children’s development, couple’s communication, and many other areas. I served as the Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician for Early Head Start, Head Start, More at Four, and NC PreK for nine years. In addition, I have provided clinical supervision and instruction for a large number of provisionally licensed clinical social workers working toward full licensure.

I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from Warren Wilson College in the beautiful Asheville mountains and my Masters from The North Carolina Central University in 2018 in the heart of Durham.

I believe there are times when we need someone to listen, but feel as though we do not want to burden them with our problems.  You are not alone and you do not have to suffer in silence.  My goal is to help you see that you can feel better, and to empower you to make the changes you need for the life you want.  As a therapist, I prioritize relationships, offer therapeutic connection, and facilitate intrapersonal and relational growth. I work with individuals to explore identity, military life challenges, sports challenges and the difficulties that may come along with attempting to know one’s self deeply and live authentically, such as anxiety, depression, retirement, major life transitions and family conflict. Seeking therapy isn’t an easy step, it takes a lot of courage, thank you for considering me to help you with any difficulties you may be facing and for taking this first step. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate with over 10 years of experience. I completed my Masters of Science in Creative Arts Therapy in 2011 from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. I have experience working in inpatient, outpatient, private practice, group therapy and virtual counseling.

As a trained art therapist, I provide the additional benefit of using art therapy with my clients. Art therapy can be used with any age group and can be a great addition to traditional therapy modalities. Art therapy can be beneficial through art therapy directives or simply the act of making art. It does not require any artistic ability and it is at my client’s discretion if they would like to participate in art therapy. I have worked in settings where I have not provided any art therapy and settings where I only provided art therapy.

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, and includes CBT, narrative therapy, and is client centered. Helping others is my calling in life and I will walk through this journey with you.
