I have over 15 years of experience in treating both adults and children in various treatment settings. My specialty areas include; christian focused counseling, marital/couples therapy, life transitions, and assisting those suffering from the effects of trauma, panic ad anxiety, and depression. My office setting is warm and inviting, and your comfort and privacy is of primary importance to me. I offer flexible appointment times, and evening appointments. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, and, that the treatment process begins with a thorough assessment, wherein, all aspects of the individual are considered; body, mind, social environment, and spirituality. I am an active therapist and treatment goals are client driven. I adapt my treatment approach to the individual needs and comfort level. I have experience working with grief and loss, depression, parenting, adoption and foster care, family dynamics, and adjustment issues specific to teens and young adults. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and International Studies and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. I obtained my Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute and my Bachelors in Psychology from Ithaca College. I have experience treating a variety of issues such as depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, substance abuse, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, parenting issues, and relationship problems. I work with children, adolescents, families, and adults and provide individual, family, and group therapy. When working with children I utilize play therapy techniques and strongly encourage family involvement.
Prior to joining Miracles Counseling Center I provided Individual, Family, and Group Therapy at Beach Cities Psychological Services in Hermosa Beach California. Prior to my work in Private Practice I worked for a county funded agency, San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center where I specialized in early intervention, as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Before my work as a Mental Health Clinician I provided floor time therapy to children with special needs.
I’m also the mother of two children(8 and 5) and as a parent I understand the complexities and challenges of daily life. I also believe our parenting choices affect our children and shape who they will become as adults.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and my Masters of Social Work from The University of Michigan. I have over 12 years of clinical experience working in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in various settings. I have previously worked as an outpatient therapist at an agency serving children and adolescents, as a Clinical Social Worker at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, and working with veterans that have experienced Military Sexual Trauma at the Salisbury VA Medical Center.
I prefer to take a strength-based and a “whole-health” approach when working with clients, and strive to make it a collaborative experience. I am trained and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and have previous experience teaching both Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills and Mindfulness skills in both group and individual settings. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and obtained my Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University. I have previously worked as a therapist for both the New York State Office of Mental Health and also as the Director of Clinical Services for Atrium Healthcare. I also served on the NC Social Work Licensing Board.

I have experience in working with ADHD, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Grief, and Substance Abuse. I work with family systems and cognitive behavioral skills. Ms. Robinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents and adults. She is a native of New York where she attended City University of New York at Brooklyn College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Ms. Robinson went on to attended Columbia University School of Social Work and Bank Street College of Education, where she earned Master of Social Work and Master of Education degrees, respectively. After graduate school, Ms. Robinson worked at Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem, where she became licensed to provide therapy to children and families from 2001 – 2006. Ms. Robinson moved to Maryland in 2006, and soon after, joined the clinical social work team at Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health on the Adolescent Girls Unit, where she provided therapy and case management services. Within a year, Ms. Robinson was promoted to the position of Program Director, providing leadership in program development and implementation. In 2009, Ms. Robinson joined the Clinical Management team of Contemporary Therapeutic Services, where she supervised therapists working toward full licensure. In November 2010, Ms. Robinson joined the clinical team of Foundation Schools in Montgomery County, an alternative school, where she provided therapy and case management services to high school students with emotional and academic disabilities. In July, 2014 Ms. Robinson relocated to Charlotte, NC and is currently working with Miracles Counseling Centers and her specialties include work with teens, victims of trauma and adjustment issues. Ms. Robinson has earned a certificate in the Advanced Treatment of Trauma, and uses this skill base to treat clients in private practice. I am Louise Bargo Biller a Licensed Clinical Social Worker receiving a Master of Social Work Degree from East Carolina University. I come to Miracles Healing Centers after fourteen years in my second career in private mental health practice. I worked for many years in the public realm of social work and social work management as well as being a mental health counselor and consultant. I believe through a positive relationship with a caring professional it is possible to uncover solutions to the most difficult of life’s struggles. Old behaviors often get in the way, keeping us from becoming the person we want to be. I believe the client is the expert in identifying areas for clinical attention. The benefits gained from psychotherapy depend largely upon the client’s investment in the process. This means that not only will you learn new skills, but can put those skills to use in between sessions to become the person you were destined to be.
My theoretical approach to therapy is an eclectic mix with the primary use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I spent many years working with adults, teens, children, and families. I have experience and training in providing psychotherapy for clients with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, child and adolescent behavioral problems, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in both adults and children, grief, blending families, relationship struggles, women’s issues, stress and anger management. I have expertise in providing therapeutic services for active duty, retired military and military families. Veterans and warriors have many reasons for seeking clinical attention that are due to their direct combat experiences, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to mention two major ones, and importantly reintegration into their families and communities after long and multiple deployments. I am trained in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for the treatment of trauma. This is a powerful healing approach that has demonstrated positive results in the treatment of many disorders, but specifically for trauma related experiences and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I am also a skilled educator and trainer. I have conducted numerous classes and seminars for parents, child care professionals, public employees, school officials and social work staff to include such topics as workplace stress, behavior management, child abuse, disorders affecting children’s development, couple’s communication, and many other areas. I served as the Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician for Early Head Start, Head Start, More at Four, and NC PreK for nine years. In addition, I have provided clinical supervision and instruction for a large number of provisionally licensed clinical social workers working toward full licensure.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and received my degree at Hunter College in New York City. I have experience in counseling children, adolescents and adults with a variety of diagnoses, while working in private practice, inpatient and outpatient settings. I am trained treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, attention deficit disorder both in children and adults, and conflicts in relations. My theoretical perspective is one of a humanistic and relational approach while using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. I also am trained in experiential therapies, which have proven to aid the client in exploring underlying issues.
